At Just Neckers — part of Zone West Enterprises Ltd. — we like to keep it simple. We collect only essential information from our customers, we will never sell or rent this information to a third party, and all persistent data is stored on servers located in Canada.

What information is collected

All data you submit is kept in a customer file: whether it is a message sent through our Contact form, an email, artwork, measurements, a list of names, and so on. If you send us a message we store the IP address to help us determine whether it is spam. We also keep contact information such as shipping and billing addresses, phone numbers and email addresses.

We maintain a full order history: since we often get repeat orders, this lets us match a previous order exactly as expected. We keep tracking numbers for shipments, and while we keep payment receipts for credit card transactions, we do not store full credit card numbers. Please note that your own browser may retain this information and could automatically fill out credit card forms.

Web sessions and cookies

In order to provide a cart on our website, we use cookies. This way, cart items persist across multiple visits, and your contact information is kept the same way once you have provided it. You can clear these cookies, which forces the session to close — that data is not stored on our servers. Inactive sessions are automatically cleared out after 30 days.

Accessing customer data

All Zone West employees must be authenticated to view customer data, and more sensitive data requires elevated permission levels. Outside access to our systems is very limited and always through encrypted channels. Physical access to our servers is protected with strong passwords.

Payments

Card payments are processed by our payment provider over an encrypted connection. Your full card number is entered directly with the processor and is never stored on our website’s servers.

Marketing

We do not advertise to existing customers using email lists or address lists. We do not use tricks such as browser fingerprinting to identify recurring users, nor do we run A/B testing, and we are strongly opposed to dark patterns.

Your choices

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to any records we are required to keep). To do any of these, or if you have a question about this policy, just get in touch.
